The Honest Answer

Why us.
Actually.

Not the polished pitch version. The real answer — who we are, what we care about, what we've done, what we won't do, and why the organizations that choose us tend to stay with us for years.

Questions You Should Ask

The things every
client should ask
before hiring anyone.

Most agencies answer these questions with marketing language. We're going to answer them plainly — because if you can't trust an agency's answer to a direct question, you definitely can't trust them with your marketing budget.

Question 01
Are you actually local, or is "Northeast Ohio" just something you put on your website?
We're based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Our team lives here. We eat at the restaurants we promote, drive past the storefronts we build websites for, and genuinely care about whether the businesses in this region are thriving — because it's our region too. We have never worked remotely from somewhere else and called it local.
Question 02
Why do most of your clients stay with you for years?
Because we don't disappear after onboarding. The agencies with poor retention treat the sale as the finish line — they have a great pitch and a disappointing follow-through. We treat the sale as the start of something. Ninety-four percent of our clients renew year over year because they can see the work being done, they understand what it's producing, and they trust us enough to introduce us to other people they know.
Question 03
What happens when results are slow or something isn't working?
We tell you. Before you notice, ideally. We don't quietly adjust and hope you don't ask questions. If a campaign is underperforming, we bring it to the monthly call with an explanation of why and a specific plan to address it. We'd rather have an uncomfortable conversation early than lose a client's trust by avoiding it.
Question 04
Do you work with everyone who asks, or do you actually turn clients away?
We turn people away. If we don't think we can deliver results for someone's budget, business type, or goals — we say so. We don't take on clients we can't serve well, because it's bad for them and it's bad for our reputation in a community where word travels. We've referred competitors to businesses we couldn't serve properly. That's not something most agencies do.
Question 05
What's the real reason you focus only on local and community organizations?
Because it's what we're actually good at — and because we care about it in a way that isn't performative. When a contractor's phone starts ringing consistently, a family's stability improves. When a Chamber grows its membership, the entire business community in that town benefits. We chose this niche because the stakes feel real to us. A national brand's quarterly impressions report does not.
Question 06
What don't you do well?
We're not the right agency for large national campaigns, e-commerce at scale, or enterprise-level media buys. We don't have the team size or infrastructure for that. What we do exceptionally well is local — ranking a service business in a specific market, growing a nonprofit's donor base, helping a Chamber increase membership retention. If your goals require something beyond that, we'll tell you and point you somewhere better.

What We Stand For

Four things we
will never compromise.

These aren't aspirational values we printed on a poster. They're the things we've actually been tested on — by difficult clients, difficult results, and difficult conversations — and held to anyway.

01
Honesty over comfort
We will tell you when something isn't working, when your budget is too small for your goals, or when we're not the right fit. We've walked away from revenue to avoid misleading a client. That's not a business strategy — it's just how we operate.
02
Community over volume
We could take on more clients if we loosened our focus. We don't. Every organization we work with is rooted in a real place, serving real people. That focus is what makes us genuinely good at what we do — and good at it for the right reasons.
03
Outcomes over optics
A report full of impressive numbers that don't connect to real business results is a bad report. We care about leads, revenue, member retention, and donor engagement — the things that change what your organization can do — not metrics that make us look busy.
04
Relationships over transactions
We've had clients graduate from needing us. We've referred work to competitors when it wasn't right for us. We've done pro bono work for organizations that deserved help but couldn't afford it. We're in this for the long game in this community — and that means playing it straight, every time.
From Our Clients

In their own words.
Unedited.

"We went from wondering if marketing was even worth it to having our best quarter ever — in the first 3 months. The results genuinely shocked us. But what kept us was the relationship. They actually care about what happens to our business."

"We came in for a website and left with a full marketing education. They taught us how to grow on our own. An agency that actively works to make itself less necessary — that says everything about who they are."
